About Wood's of Shropshire

Wood’s of Shropshire was established in 2002 with a view to making the finest quality shirts ties and cufflinks and supplying them directly to the public. As we did then we still aim to deliver you the finest quality available on the market today.

 There are many shirts available on the market today at significantly cheaper prices than ours, but we believe in this day and age you only really get what you pay for. To this end we have made sure that our shirts are generously cut from the finest cotton fabrics and put together using the best materials possible. We do not skimp; if formal shirts require a tail (as they should) we ensure that this is long enough to stay tucked into your trousers, not just an effect.

Many ‘Jermyn Street’  type shirts available today have become commodity items , mass manufactured outside Europe and sold on an offer basis e.g. 4 shirts for £100 etc. These are still perfectly good shirts, we just believe that our shirts, still made in small batches in the original factory are that little bit more special and individual.

As the shirt business developed we have partnered with other famous British brands to bring you the best quality at a fair price. We are thus able to bring you our selections from their ranges with a view to allowing you to purchase the best quality available at sensible prices and have everything delivered to your door. We work closely with our suppliers and give them feedback from our customers which sometimes will result in the development of new products. If our customers ask for it – we will try to get it! It may sometimes take some time but if we can’t get it from established suppliers and there is enough demand, we will make it!

We offer a very easy, free returns service, which allows customers to return goods to us for any reason within 28 days at no cost; I am delighted to say that to date only 1 in every 300 customers avail themselves of this facility. We feel this statistic speaks louder than words as a testament to our quality and service.
