The history of Dents can be traced back to 1777, when John Dent first established his accessory company manufacturing fine leather gloves in Worcester, England. The company continued to grow under the guidance of his two sons, John and William, and by 1833 Dents employed 133 craftsmen and craftswomen at their factories in Worcester and London, who were engaged in hand cutting and stitching a unique skill still practised today. From the beginning the Dents name has been synonymous with good design and quality accessories. The traditional skills of the master craftsperson has been the companies hallmark since 1777
