Ladies Sea Island Cotton Socks

Pantherella has the exclusive rights in the UK to produce socks from Genuine Sea Island Cotton, as approved by WISICA (West Indian Sea Island Cotton Association)

Unlike Sea Island Quality used by most manufacturers this is the real McCoy! Sea Island cotton is as strong as silk, as soft as Cashmere and as durable as wool, but with the advantage of being cool to the skin, easy to care for and extremely versatile.

Grown only in the West Indies, it is a unique strain of cotton seed having exeptionally long staple(over 50% longer). The unique climate and longer growing season results in the cotton imparting incomparable softness and sheen, and must be hand harvested.

A small amount of Nylon (23%) is added to the cotton to add durability in wear without compromising any other of the Sea Island Cotton properties. 2% Lycra allows for a perfect fit and perfect recovery after washing.
