Cotton Lisle also traditionally known as Fil d'ecosse, is a clean, smooth yarn which gives a silky lustre. Long staple Egyptian cotton is the finest and strongest available, as used expressly by Pantherella. 70% cotton combined with 30% nylon gives the sock stretch for fit and increases durability in wear, without detracting from the handle of the sock. Long cotton socks will fit to approximately just below the knee.
