COVID 19 - UK - Customer Delivery Notice

We'd like to make our customers aware that due to the current situation arising from Covid 19 it may take us a little longer than usual to replenish some of our stock so - although we are sending out orders as normal - this could mean that occasionally there would be a delay in us dispatching your order and we are also unable to guarantee a next day delivery service at this time. If you are concerned about this - or if you need your items urgently - we would ask that you contact us - either by phone on 01694781313 or by sending an e-mail to sales@woodsofshropshire.co.uk - could you also ensure we have your correct contact details on your order (phone number and e-mail) so we can keep you informed should the need arise. COVID19 - NON UK - Customer Delivery Notice

Please be aware when placing an order for delivery outside the UK - although we are dispatching orders as stated above, we use Royal Mail International Delivery Service and there may be postal delays due to limited transport available to some destinations and/or because some countries have restrictions for receiving mail in place.

As this can vary worldwide we recommend you check the current information for your destination at:- https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5317/~/international-incident-bulletin (this link will open in a new tab - simply scroll down the page to select a Country and click on it to show current information) - before placing your order.

 

IMPORTANT Delivery Information

Please ensure that the delivery address you enter at the checkout is correct as Wood's Of Shropshire Limited CANNOT be held responsible for any parcels missing due to incorrect delivery information supplied.  If your parcel is returned to sender due to incorrect details being supplied at the time of ordering, you may incur further postage charges to re-dispatch your parcel to the correct address.

We reserve the right to the change the delivery method of your choice at our discretion.

 

 UK Delivery Services

We endeavour to dispatch items in 2-3 working days* of receiving your order. In the event that any of your items are out of stock, we will advise you by telephone or email and give you the option to:

  • Be informed of the length of the delay and place your item on backorder
  • Choose a suitable item as an alternative.
  • Remove the item from your order.

  UK Standard Delivery (Royal Mail TRACKED)  –  approx. 2-3 days from dispatch.

  UK Express Service & Delivery – same working day dispatch on orders before 2 pm*  This service will require a signature upon receipt. (Dispatched via Royal Mail or DPD at our discretion, dependent on the weight & value of the package)

 Express Delivery Goods ordered Monday to Thursday before 2.00 pm will be dispatched for delivery the following day.

 Express Delivery Goods ordered after 2.00 pm on Thursday will be sent on Friday for delivery on the following Monday. **

 Express Delivery Goods ordered after 2.00pm on Friday will be dispatched the following Monday for delivery the following day.**

 ** When selecting Express Delivery please take into account Bank Holidays, i.e. Bank Holiday Monday would become Tuesday delivery/dispatch.

International Delivery Services

We endeavour to dispatch items in 2 working days of receiving your order. In the event that any of your items are out of stock we will contact you to discuss the possible options.

Carriage will be charged as at point of order. For deliveries within Europe and the United States, please allow up to 16 working days. For deliveries to other worldwide destinations please allow 21 working Days.

DUTY PAYMENTS - Products delivered to some destinations may be subject to fees, levies, taxes or other charges, which are imposed by local legislation. The recipient of the products is responsible for all customs formalities for their export and import, and will be required to pay any additional charges, including formal customs entry, import duty, levies, taxes and other charges. The recipient of the goods (not the person who's ordered them) will receive a separate request for payment of these charges.
