Lee Valley Ireland has been designing men's and women's nightwear in a small village called Inchigeela in West Cork, Ireland since 1986.
The business began with a local man named Denis Hurley, who began drafting patterns and cutting fabric for traditional Irish Shirts. He then called upon the sewing skills of local ladies, who operated from their homes, to put the shirts into production. Grandfather, Granddad, or Collarless Pyjama Shirts as they are also known, are now worn in all corners of the world and you won't find higher quality than Lee Valley. 28 years on Denis and his family are still designing and making high-quality Irish country clothing.
