Description

Corgi was founded in 1892 by a Carmarthenshire draper called Rhys Jones who, having purchased some second-hand knitting machines, began to produce thigh-high woollen stockings for the local colliers.

Rhys paid very close attention to detail and quality in his products and his reputation grew throughout South Wales and beyond.

Now about 120 years later the company is still producing fine quality hoisery, but with a lot more options in style and colours, and is being run by his great great grandchildren Chris Jones and Lisa Wood - a true local family business which is now a worldwide name!

Now producing some lovely novelty designs - even some with Corgis on!!
